Bi-Fold and Bi-Fold Plus
The standard Bi-Fold system supports configurations from one to fourteen sashes. Bi-Fold Plus introduces a deeper 80mm frame, a slim 110mm central junction and an open-corner option without a fixed mullion.
Folding glazed panels draw back to connect an interior with the terrace or garden. Aluminium framing creates a contemporary finish for extensions and renovations. Panel count, stacking direction, access requirements and threshold detail all form part of the specification.

Cortizo Bi-Fold systems use thermally broken aluminium frames to create wide, flexible openings. Panels can fold inward or outward, with configurations ranging from a single sash to multi-panel arrangements.
Tell us the appearance, operation and practical priorities for your project. We will confirm which available system and configuration is appropriate before you order.

The standard Bi-Fold system supports configurations from one to fourteen sashes. Bi-Fold Plus introduces a deeper 80mm frame, a slim 110mm central junction and an open-corner option without a fixed mullion.
Cortizo publishes maximum sash sizes up to 1200 × 3000mm for the standard Bi-Fold system. Permitted size and weight depend on the complete configuration.
Panel count, traffic door position, stacking direction, threshold and opening direction all affect how the finished door works. Supply drawings where possible.
Bi-folding doors are largely glass, so the glazing specification drives the energy performance and the thermal break in the aluminium frame limits heat loss through the metal.
Cortizo aluminium systems use polyamide thermal breaks between the inner and outer frame to reduce heat transfer through the metal. Frame depth and the break design vary between systems.
Cortizo publishes thermal, acoustic and weather-test results for specific system configurations rather than for aluminium as a whole. Deeper systems such as COR 80 are aimed at the lowest heat-loss figures.
Double or triple units, low-emissivity coatings, argon fill and warm-edge spacers usually make the largest difference. We will confirm the achievable figure for your chosen configuration.
Cortizo aluminium is powder coated to your chosen RAL reference, with matt, satin, textured and wood-effect finishes available across the range. Dual-colour frames allow a different internal and external finish.
Powder-coated finishes are specified by RAL reference. Availability, texture and any dual-colour option are confirmed with your quotation.
